1. Easter holiday

i think 4-day off was just too long, went cycling to Brisbane on Friday, played football with the undergrads on that afternoon, swimming at the Street Beach, South Bank on saturday wasn't much fun because there were too many people. wonderful for 'itchy' eyes though. i overheard a mum telling his husband " this place is heaven for paedophiles..." oh well im no pedo but how do u distinguish between an underage and err... overage? they all look equally sluttish to me. it's you who created the system and then you feel insecure about it?

cycled back to Caboolture on Sunday after the QSC a.k.a aktiviti menggadis Nazerul, and went swimming on Monday because i was too bored to stay at home.

a total of 170kms done over the 3 days, and i might do it again now that i already know the way around. the road from Narangba up to Burpangary is prime for cycling i have to say.

2. 500kms of driving in four days

i was relieving a physio in Sunshine Coast for the remaining weekdays last week. i have to say if you are not a surfer nor an ironman, you will not enjoy the surf. the tide is too strong for a noob swimmer like me. i might not go up there anytime soon, i would rather go to the waterfall or Bribie Island instead.

i did a crappy job up there as well hopefully the Physio will not be too pissed off when she's back in the office.

3. Bribie Island part II

went cycling to Bribie Island again yesterday. it started raining as soon as i hit the water and i was pounded by the 3m waves a couple of times. damn i miss adelaide's and Malaysia shores.

62kms done in 2h15m the headwind getting there was a bummer but coming home was smooth as. and the fish and chips on the Island was alright, it tastes like any other fish and chips with a $10 tag.

4. other things

SBFC were knocked out early, tsunami alert and i have been eating too much peanuts and raisins. i was told that i am a too serious of a person because i spend few hours watching news everyday. i am serious and you are obviously dumb.

not sore enough today, i might go for a paid quick dip and get wet in skimpy clothes, if it's not raining of course, it sucks to get wet while swimming. hasta la proxima!

4. Tour Down Giler 2010

the plan was a 48kms cycle up Mt Lofty summit again, but this time via Gorge rd, which shouldt take more than 2-3 hours. but... something didnt go to plan.

there are a few things i learnt:

1. They have a really2 poor signage around the hills area
2. Google map is not that reliable
3. to bring a map next time/gps
4. who's up for cherry picking? apple picking? lychee picking? strawberry? let's cycle there.
5. keep urself hydrated. i only had coffee n biscuits for breakfast n 2 short choc bar all day.
6. the signage is really bad around there. ah i already put it at no 1 but seriously, it's really bad.

somewhere between Ashton-Summertown. a really steep descend. u cant see the bottom when u r on top of the hill, n u cant feel the steep climb due to the carrying speed when going down.

i was quite disappointed that i only reached the Crafers after 100+kms, and i think i made the right decision of not climbing up the summit, n just enjoy the ride downhill from there. what a memorable christmas day for me. suprisingly, it wasnt too tiring at all. i was working 12-8.30pm yesterday. double pay beb!

nothing much happened within last week, it makes me wonder if i shud even make this post or i better wait a bit longer in case an alien or a moster descended from the sky and kidnap my cuddly housemates mr syafiq n mr apam. well, either seems impossible to happen so i'll just write boring stuffs as usual.

1. open houses+makan free

it keeps me away from the kitchen, and it ensures me of happy stomach at the end of the day. thanks to MASCA, en Mangkok, umah Miu, umah kucai, umah akak2 postgrad n umah2 sape ag xlupe juge HJ tempat ku mengepau makanan slps kerja.

it has got a bit dodgy lately, i managed to spend 6 hrs sitting watching prison break, and i woke up late for the prev 4 days. i guess it's all the day light saving thing's fault.

5. Work-Life balance

i volunteered myself to teach budak2+muallaf (preferebly budak2 kecik) how to recite quran. we had a session yesterday with ustat wan. well, hopefully i'll managed to squeeze in some time for the good of others. well, as i said earlier, life's pretty boring at the moment.

the last time we met it must b in 1998, then his family went back to sudan after his father finished his study. im quite suprised by his level of malay. i dunno if he still love raihan but it's good to hear from u. it recalls back all the good times we had together as well as the nasty things he received from us just bcoz he's not one of us. we were kids back then and yeah kids do stupid stuffs. we shall meet one day iA.

after working a 6-hr shift on 16/09, i stayed up until 4am so that i wont miss the 4.30am bus to airport. arrived at the airport at 5.15am n checked in just before 5.30am (45mins b4 flight check in regulation), n there were still ppl queing behind me, stuff them wahahaha.

the stewardess weren't any attractive enuff to entertain my eyes so im off for my much needed sleep. upon landing at the Melbourne epot, it took about 10 mins for the plane to get to the terminal due to heavy fog in Sydney and planes destined to sydney epot were diverted to Melbourne n Brisbane epot. the reality of Victorians costly life hit me, as i was welcomed with a $16 (apsal aku xbli retur tic? nnt ujung2 aku cte) 20mins bus trip to the city. i wandered arnd DFO n then took a train to Topek's place in East Oakleigh (petempatan budak2 Monash). Zul n Napong picked me up at the Huntingdale Stn.

lps zohor bergerak la aku g melben utk menghabiskan sisa2 hidup kat victoria nih. jalan2 carik trian stn tp silap, so bak kate pepatah malu bertanya sesat jalan, aku pon bertanya kpd satu ex-primary skool teacher, n she was very nice showed me the direction. we had a short chat along the way.

sampai2 melben, aku pon blurr sbb xtau nk wat pe sbb budak2 tuh sume still kat sepital n pengguaan henpon agak limited. so aku g vic market tp dh tutup r plak. naik trem g brunswick turun stop 21, n menggunakan ilmu penaakulan mantik dan photographic&pornografik memory aku pon main bedal je jln mane2. sampai r aku terase mcm xtau nk pusing mane, aku pon approach satu brader oz yg sedang masukkan baby die dlm kusi baby kat seat blakang. die pon dgn baik hatiyer mengeluarkan buku peta n tlg carik jalan. n tetibe die dgn baik hatinye mengoffer utk hantar aku g sane. so aku pon masuk dlm kete die n die pon pusing2 sampai jumpe jalan tuh. name encik tuh adelah en james. tq en james. n anak die kat blakang tuh name... aiseh xigt name anak die ape. pendek cite, sampai r umah fira utk dimakan tanggung berak xcangkung kat situ.

oh besday aku yg ke 24 rupenye (thx for all the well-wishes-sambil-kutuk2). xdek dpt hadiah pape pon so beg aku remain 4kg+. so aku pon pow beskal fira yg berupa sebuah diamondback bertayar 26" x 30 kot sedap utk melompat2 divider bile salah jalan. tp yg xbesnyer beskal tuh fixed gear. so i had to put up with the downside of it n ride like a true commuter, slowly but surely. pusing smith st, pastuh g lonsdale st, sesat2 sp tpt2 yg dak melben pon tatau katne n diakhiri dgn sesi makan2 kfc kat flemington. so 4 jam having a very gay time of my own tanpa membeli ape2 sbb jacket yg aku berkenan tuh xdek size. i can say now dat im confident with Melbourne streets. xdek la susa mane pon.

pagi2 pkl 6 kuar umah dihantar oleh fira ke Southern Cross utk amik Flybus. aku xbli return tiket arituh sbb 1. aku tatau ade return tic nyer price 2. aku bajet mane r tau kot2 r rakan2 aku yg baik hati tuh nk hantar aku g epot. tp memandangkan diorg dak2 medic agak bz n aku pon dah kaye skang wahahahaha. so sampai epot awal, g carik krispykreame utk anak dara encik rozanizam zakaria.
